Albrecht Dürer artists’ watercolour pencils provide artists with great versatility of expression when drawing, shading and painting in watercolours.
High-quality materials, combined with over 250 years of experience, have resulted in watercolour pencils that produce unsurpassed watercolour effects and vibrancy.
The coloured surface can be transformed with only a few fine or broad brush strokes to reveal the full and unique power of the colours.
Depending on the paper being used, the pigments can be completely dissolved, and will then behave in the same way as classic watercolour paints.
Please email us for individual pencils – choose from the colour chart, we keep singles in our art store and are happy to supply them to you.
A Nylon tip brush with excellent control for fine line work or Chinese/Japanese calligraphy. A re-fillable cartridge that screws securely on the base of the brush, and is the handle of the brush itself. Use any water-based inks or watercolours that you like, for your colour or black ink work. Add water to a black ink for interesting shades of grey! The brush re-activates when left for some time, by simply dipping the tip in water, and squeezing the handle reservoir. Wash brush in warm water before using. Available in Fine, Medium and Broad tips.
Viarco’s Artgraf watercolour graphite has an interesting and very expressive graphic personality offering the artist an extensive scale of graphite greys that range from the deep blacks to more subtle, brighter and more transparent ones.
Wet the brush directly onto the product, controlling the amount of water according to the desired shades.
Cretacolour Aqua Monolith Woodless pencils sets come in wooden boxes.
The pencils are made with no wood in the body coating, just from a solid water-soluble lead protected with a thin coating of lacquer.
The diameter of the lead 7 mm is as thick as a normal pencil with wood coating.
Monolith pencils can be sharpened with standard sharpeners.
By inclining the pencil when working, you can do fine lines as well as broad strokes.
Pencils can be used with or without water.
