Langridge Rust & Verdigris Base & Patina

Description

New Langridge Black Decorative Primer

Especially formulated for use with Langridge ‘metal bases’, new Langridge Black Decorative Primer will ensure optimum results with Rust and Verdigris Bases on a wide range of surfaces including plastics, timber, brick, render and cement.
No prior sealing needed: Black Decorative Primer is a sealer and primer in one. It is both fluid and highly opaque for ease of brushing that does not need further dilution. Sufficient for most surfaces in a single coat or two coats for extremely absorbent substrates. Put under the Rust or Verdigris Base.

Rust Base

Create genuine rust finishes on any surface!

Easy to use Iron based paint used with Patina activator for the transformation of objects and furniture into aged metal. Simply paint on 2 coats of Rust Base, apply Patina and watch the orange-red rust appear almost instantly.

Verdigris Base

Create genuine verdigris finishes on any surface!

Easy to use Brass based paint used with Patina activator for the transformation of objects and furniture into aged metal. Simply paint on 2 coats of verdigris Base, apply Patina and watch the grey-green verdigris appear almost instantly.

Oxidising Patina

Used to activate Rust or Verdigris bases.

Can be applied to Imitation Gold Leaf, Copper Leaf, bronze, brass or copper objects to create genuine antique metal finishes instantly.

Patina Sealer

Use to ‘lock in’ the patinated metal finish. Recommended when applying rust or verdigris finishes in exterior applications to prevent changes in the patinated finish when exposed to rain over extended periods of time.
