Langridge Artist Quality Oil Sticks

Langridge Artists' Quality Oilsticks 38ml are highly pigmented solid oil colour, designed for direct application on all traditional surfaces and compatible with conventional oil paints.

The wax in the oil stick allows the artist to draw or paint directly onto a surface without brushes, mediums or solvents.

The oil sticks have a rich buttery consistency.

To use:

- Apply as a drawn mark

- Use for underpainting or first sketch

- Use brushes, solvents and rags to manipulate colour.

- Dip into mediums for thinning before application

- can be worked with palette knives

- use on canvas, paper, masonite, metal, sculpture

- can be varnished when dry with Retouch Varnish applied very gently

- do not use a solvent based varnish as it dissolves the wax
