A lighting system that really brings art to life. Low voltage light wands lock onto the same track that hangs your art. A flat power cable fitted into the top section of the track carries 12 volt current along the track from a transformer.
The light wands simply lock onto the track at any point and light up so it’s really easy to move the light wands when you move your art.
Because this system positions the lamps much closer to the art the lighting is much more effective. For the same reason we use 20 watt lamps instead of 50 watt lamps as used with ceiling track lighting so you can cut your power bill by over 50%.
PLANNING YOUR LIGHTING SYSTEM
The system now comes in a prewired kit so there is only one cable (2 wires) for you to connect into the two available holes in the junction box (it doesn’t matter which wire goes into which hole).
Everything you need is in the kit except the light wands, 20 watt lamps and corner covers (they hide the blue power cable where it shows in the corners). Each kit with a 300VA (volt amps) transformer can run up to 12 lights over a distance of up to 15 metres (200VA kit will run 8 lamps over 10m). For longer areas you will need more than one kit.
CAUTION: The system is designed for 20 watt lamps. Stronger lamps may damage the system.
